Is it really free?
Yes. No account, no API key, no rate-limit tier to buy. The widget reads the same live Hyperliquid data as the rest of LabelYX, cached so your page load stays fast.
Does it track my visitors?
No. The embed loads no analytics, no ad tags and no third-party requests of any kind, and it sets no cookies. That is deliberate — a widget that quietly tracked your readers would hand you a consent obligation you never asked for.
How often does it update?
Funding rates refresh on roughly a one-minute cycle, and Hyperliquid charges funding every hour. The widget shows the current 1h rate and its annualised equivalent.
Can I restyle it?
Pick light, dark, or let it follow each visitor's system setting. The widget renders in an iframe, so it cannot inherit or clash with your site's CSS — and you can set any width you like on the iframe itself.
Do I have to keep the credit link?
Please do. The link is the only thing we ask in exchange, and it is what makes it worth keeping the widget free and maintained.
What the widget shows
The same funding data as the funding scanner: the current hourly rate for each Hyperliquid perpetual market, its annualised equivalent, and open interest. Hyperliquid settles funding every hour, and the widget refreshes on its own so an embedded table does not quietly go stale on a page nobody reloads.
Two shapes are available. The table lists the top markets by open interest, which suits a sidebar or a homepage panel. The single-coin card tracks one asset and is small enough to sit inline in an article. Both come in light and dark, so the embed can match the page it lands on rather than punching a hole in it.
Why it is free, and what it costs you
It loads no tracking scripts, sets no cookies and asks for no API key or account. Your visitors are not measured by us and no identifier follows them anywhere. The only thing we get out of it is a link back, which is the whole business model of the thing.
Practically, that also means there is nothing to break: no key to rotate, no quota to exceed, and no dashboard to log into. Paste the snippet once and it keeps working.
Where an embed earns its place
Funding is the number that quietly decides whether a held position was worth holding, and it is the one most traders never check until it has already cost them. If you write about perpetuals, run a community page, or keep a dashboard of your own, a live rate beside the text does more than another paragraph explaining it would. Do I need to credit LabelYX?
